EUROPA GALANTE ORCHESTRA
Founded in 1989 by Fabio Biondi, Europa Galante was created to give an authentically Italian voice to Baroque and Classical music, fields that had until then been dominated by Northern European performers. With its debut dedicated to Vivaldi, the ensemble achieved immediate international success, becoming a global reference thanks to its combination of stylistic rigor and interpretative vitality.
With a discography awarded prizes such as the Diapason d’Or and three Grammy nominations, the ensemble is a regular guest at the world’s leading concert halls. Beyond rediscovering forgotten treasures of the 18th century, they have extended their historically informed practice to 19th-century bel canto (Bellini, Donizetti and Verdi).
In 2026, under Biondi’s vision, Europa Galante continues to lead the early music scene with a residency at Teatro Due in Parma and a major tour across Asia, Dubai and South America.
