The Cicle Patis i Jardins is a cycle of intimate concerts that invites audiences to experience music in two of Sant Feliu de Guíxols’ most distinctive venues: Pati de l’Antic Hospital and Jardí de Casa Trachsler.
Three intimate evenings with limited seating, featuring highly accomplished musicians connected to Sant Feliu de Guíxols, set against remarkable surroundings that make the experience even more special.

Born in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Marc Clos is a percussionist and multi-instrumentalist. Trained in classical, modern, traditional and historical percussion, he has developed a wide-ranging career spanning early music, jazz, improvisation, pop and rock. He has collaborated with ensembles and artists including Jordi Savall, Hespèrion XXI, La Capella Reial de Catalunya, Love of Lesbian, Jaume Sisa and Joan Colomo, among many others.
In Paisatges ressonants, Marc Clos explores minimalism and meditative soundscapes through vibraphone and percussion. A journey through repetition, rhythm, stillness and resonance, featuring works by Philip Glass, Erik Satie, Arvo Pärt, Ney Rosauro and Steve Reich.

Presented as part of the Juli Garreta Year commemorations, this concert celebrates the legacy of Sant Feliu de Guíxols’ celebrated composer. Pascal Le Corre and Jaume Ferrer will perform two of his works, including the Sonata for Cello and Piano, dedicated to Pau Casals, alongside works by Enric Casals and Déodat de Séverac.
Pascal Le Corre is a French pianist with an internationally acclaimed career. Trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, he was awarded the Grand Prize at the Maria Canals International Piano Competition. He has performed throughout Europe, the Americas and Japan, both as a soloist and in chamber ensembles and orchestras. A resident of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, he has maintained a close connection with the town and the Porta Ferrada Festival for decades.
Born in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Jaume Ferrer studied at the Isaac Albéniz Conservatory in Girona, Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester, and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. He has performed at venues including the Philharmonie de Paris, Palau de la Música Catalana and the Royal Academy of Music in London, and has collaborated with internationally renowned conductors and performers.

Flor de Gel is the latest work by pianist and composer Carles Font, a programme of original compositions for quartet that will receive its premiere preview at the Porta Ferrada Festival.
Each piece has its own identity and origin. From Gael-illo, dedicated to his son, to Flor de Gel, inspired by the process of crystallisation and the gradual development of a musical motif, the concert creates a distinctive and deeply personal musical universe.
Performed by piano, flute, electric bass and drums, the programme offers a journey through original music that combines intensity, delicacy and expressive freedom.
MUSICIANS
Carles Font Turon
Pianist and composer trained at ESMUC. In 2023 he released Moviment Estàtic, his first solo piano album, and currently teaches piano at the Girona Conservatory. Her work received the 2025 Enderrock Award for Best Jazz Album.
Neus Plana Turu
Flutist trained at ESMUC and specialised in flamenco. Her debut album, 12.12, received the 2024 Enderrock Award for Best New Jazz Album (Public Vote).
Tomàs Pujol Pérez
Electric bassist specialising in jazz and contemporary music. A professor at Barcelona’s Taller de Músics, he has collaborated with artists including Chano Domínguez.
Antonio Parraguez Rodríguez
Chilean percussionist based in Catalonia. His career spans classical music, flamenco, jazz and world music.

THE VENUES

Jardí de Casa Trachsler
Casa Trachsler, a majestic townhouse located in the very heart of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, has a rich history dating back to 1865. Now in the hands of the fifth generation of its Spanish-Swiss lineage, the property combines the excellence and precision of Swiss savoir-faire with the warmth of Spanish savoir-vivre.
A true oasis within Casa Trachsler. For decades, the family has upheld the tradition of opening its doors to the public and to the renowned Porta Ferrada Occident Festival. Since then, it has hosted exhibitions by emerging artists, concerts, masterclasses, yoga sessions and a wide range of exclusive events.

Pati de l’Antic Hospital
The Antic Hospital is the main site of the Museu d’Història de Sant Feliu de Guíxols. This historic building, documented since the 14th century and renovated in 1920 by architect Joan Bordàs i Salellas, preserves original features such as its stained-glass windows and botanical garden. The first floor houses the permanent exhibition Una Societat Canviant, dedicated to the historical evolution of the city, as well as temporary exhibitions on history, heritage, society and health in the chapel space.
