SNARKY PUPPY IN CONCERT AT THE PORTA FERRADA OCCIDENT FESTIVAL 2026
With five Grammy Awards under their belt, Snarky Puppy is undoubtedly a musical collective that defies any label. Led by bassist Michael League, the group has made sonic exploration their primary raison d’être, freely navigating styles ranging from funk, rhythm & blues, and classic soul to hard rock, modern gospel, and jazz, while incorporating contemporary and electronic textures. Simply put, they are a band that leaves a lasting impression wherever they go.
Following their sold-out show in Barcelona, the band is in a moment of spectacular growth and returns to the region to continue showcasing their explosive live performance. They do so with their latest album, Somni (2025)—a title originally written in Catalan—a project where they have once again joined forces with the Metropole Orkest to further expand their sonic universe.
This new work follows the acclaimed Empire Central (2022), a Grammy-winning tribute to their Texas roots, and the 10th-anniversary celebration of We Like It Here featuring a special remastered edition. Now, Snarky Puppy lands at the Espai Port in Sant Feliu de Guíxols for their only concert in Catalonia, ready to thrill us with a proposal that is more than just a concert—it is a total musical experience.
