RIGOBERTA BANDINI IN CONCERT AT THE PORTA FERRADA OCCIDENT FESTIVAL 2026
Author of anthems such as Ay Mamá, In Spain We Call It Soledad and Perra, Rigoberta Bandini presents her new album, Jesucrista Superstar, at Porta Ferrada Occident. An ambitious and expansive work that places religion, identity and everyday life at its core, and in which the artist embraces a new, freer and more radical creative phase.
With her unmistakable style, and after selling out major venues such as Madrid’s WiZink Center, Rigoberta Bandini returns with a powerful, theatrical-format show, where songs like Kaimán and Pamela Anderson are sure to be heard.
Rigoberta Bandini is the alter ego of Catalan artist Paula Ribó, a writer, playwright and voice actress. Before the project’s massive success—consolidated between 2019 and 2022 and amplified by her participation in Benidorm Fest—Ribó had already built a solid artistic career. Winner of the Goya Award for Best Original Song for Yo solo quiero amor, from the film Te estoy amando locamente, she was also the voice of the children’s character Caillou for years and part of The Mamzelles, a group that gained great popularity with the campaign Envàs, on vas? by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Having become one of the most distinctive voices in recent pop, Rigoberta Bandini has managed to connect with an entire generation by blurring the boundaries between the personal and the political, as well as between high and low culture. She now reaffirms her role as an icon from a position of creative independence within the music industry.
