Following the success of his solo debut El ball i el plany (2020), the accordionist returned in 2024 with the EP Et cantaré el rock & roll és mort perquè marxen lluny, a work where the whole is much more than the sum of its parts. At a time when regional Mexican music has gone global thanks to artists like Peso Pluma, Garriga reminds us that he was already there, exploring those sonic bridges with striking naturalness.
