Fabio Biondi is one of the most influential performers in today’s Baroque music scene. Founder and director of Europa Galante, he achieved historic success with the recording of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons (Opus 111, 1991), which sold over 500,000 copies and received international awards such as the Premio Cini di Venezia, the Choc de la Musique and several Diapason d’Or. He now visits Porta Ferrada Occident for an exclusive concert in Spain.
Paola Poncet has been the principal harpsichordist of Europa Galante since 2003. With this ensemble, she has performed as both soloist and continuo player in the most prestigious venues around the world, establishing herself as a key figure in numerous internationally awarded recordings. As a chamber musician, her ongoing collaboration in duo with Fabio Biondi stands out, with whom she has performed in leading venues such as New York’s Carnegie Hall and Tokyo’s Oji Hall.

Francesco Veracini – Ciaccona from Sonate Accademiche in D minor, Opus 2 No. 12
